On the 19th, Toni Owens who is representing the estate of Julian Owens filed a lawsuit against Core Trucking of Texas and an employee with the Jefferson County District Court. This is after a Core Trucking 18 wheeler was in an accident that resulted in the death of Julian Owens. The Core Trucking Employee was in front of Julian when Julian tried to make a left turn. The driver of the 18 wheeler then t-boned Mr. Owens became trapped in his vehicle when it was engulfed in flames. This lead to this early death. The lawsuit is for punitive damages and wrongful death.
